I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. 先生と一緒に小説を読んでいます。独学だと挫折しそうになりますが、先生と一緒に読むといろいろな背景や文化も教えていただけて楽しいです。日本語で感想を言い合う時も楽しいです。そのページの中に日常会話でよく使う言い回しがある際にはレッスン後にフィードバックに書いて下さるので、いつも暗記したり英作文を作ったりしています。徐々に私の英語力も上がってきました。

日本語と英語がネイティブなのはもちろんですが、とにかく知識も素晴らしいです。毎回みっちり勉強となります。やりがいがあります。また学習方法も提案してくれますし、自分も要求すれば対応してくれます。なんとなくだらだら過ぎるのカスタマズではないです。
