Mineco-sensei and I have been reading 吾輩は猫である which is a book I have been very interested in for years now, but could never really understand by myself. Mineco-sensei always prepares thoroughly for each lesson. She makes slides with the words, phrases and grammar for each passage. She also researches the cultural background whenever there's a difficult part or idiom in the text, as well as prepares some sentences for me to read outloud as a practice. We always have a chat about the passage and every single lesson is a lot of fun. I really appreciate all of the work Mineco-sensei puts into lesson prep.

He always provides wonderful cooking lessons. His experience working in restaurants adds so much value to every lesson, and I feel very fortunate to learn not only the recipes but also the knowledge and insights he has gained throughout his career. たわいない会話も毎回とても楽しく、そして時々どんな文法書を見ても理解が出来ない文法を聞いてもとてもわかりやすく教えてくださいます。単語のニュアンスの違いも例文で感覚的に捉えやすく説明してもらえて、楽しいのにとてもためになるレッスンです。

たまたま空き時間ができてスタンバイを利用しました。同じ英語講師としてフリートークレッスンは1番難しいと私は思ってます。生徒さんにどうやって「伸びるように」話してもらうかが大切だからです。その点、先生は上手に話を引き出してくださり、自分の事もバランスよく話されていたので同業として見習う事がたくさんありました。なかなかタイミングが合いませんが、是非また受けたい先生の1人です！
