I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. ニュースの文章は、最初はとても難しかったですが、一緒に音声や日本語訳も送って下さるので、レッスンまでに何度も聴いているうちに、理解できるようになりました。単語の高低アクセントなど、本当に細かい部分まで指導してくださいます。そして、このレッスンでは、レッスン後に自分の音声を録音して先生に指導していただくこともできます。声楽家の先生ならではの発声のコツを教えていただき、先生のお陰で、以前よりも発音やアクセントを意識できるようになりました。
