What will you learn?
You will learn basic terminology of finance depending on your current level of knowledge. The terminology will include terms like - interest, present value, future value, discount rate and for advanced finance students we will look at the terms on the income statements, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.

Knowledge of finance will empower you in your current job and looking back at the basic terms you will gain a new fresh perspective on the world of finance.
How will we learn?
We will look at building up your finance vocabulary while using various texts from Yahoo finance and from annual reports. You will also prepare short and easy 5-7 minute projects on finance topics such as valuations, cash flows, and portfolio management. Naturally, you will pick the topic that intersts you the most for your mini projects.
What is the next step?
The next step is for you to refelect on your current level of finance knowledge and mostly think about what the most interesting subset of finance is for you.
