課程介紹

Hi, there!

You can choose from the titles of articles provided before the class or you can have a lesson material of your choice. :) It's all up to you! ;)

The goal of this lesson:
  • to enjoy reading comfortably without feeling pressured
  • phonics - understanding that the sounds in speech relate to letters
  • vocabulary - understanding word meanings and learning new words,                             idioms, and phrases 
  • fluency - help your reading ability be more smooth and accurate
  • comprehension - understanding the meaning of the text and the content                              as a whole
Lesson procedures:
  1. Reading part - you will be expected to read the chosen article aloud
  2. Pronunciation 
  3. Comprehension - understanding difficult words and phrases you do not understand in the article. 
  4. Discussion 
  5. Feedback time
Right after reading, we'll read again some words that are mispronounced. Then, we will talk/discuss the article. Here, we can exchange ideas. I will help you with your sentences during the conversation. But, please know that I want the conversation to flow naturally. So, sometimes, I write them down to discuss before the class ends.

If we happen to run out of time and cannot discuss it any further, no worries, because I always send a lesson report for you to have something to review after the class. ;)

But if you wish to be corrected promptly or right away, please let me know so I can do it during the class. :)

世界の時事問題、最新ニュースを話しませんか？
私が用意するトピックから選んでいただくのでも、ご自身でニュース記事を用意されるのでも、どちらでも構いません。

このレッスンでの目標：
気負うことなく、英文を読むことを楽しむ
フォニックス - 発音と綴り字の規則性を理解する
語彙力 - 単語の意味を理解し、イディオムや文章での使い方を学ぶ
流暢さ - よりスムーズで正確に、英文を声に出して読む
読解力 - それぞれの文章とニュース全体の意味を理解する
レッスンの進め方：
内容の確認 - 単語やフレーズの意味の理解を深め
ディスカッション
フィードバック/全体のまとめ

音読した後、発音が間違っているものがあれば訂正します。その後で、記事の内容について意見を出し合います。生徒さんが単語や言い回しに迷った場合にはさりげなくお伝えして発言の手助けをしますが、基本的にはスムーズな会話の流れを大切にしたいので、レッスンの最後にまとめてお伝えする場合もあります。

ディスカッションをするとあっという間に時間が過ぎるものです。時間が足りなくて全てのフィードバックが終わらな場合があるかもしれませんが、レッスン後に詳細なレポートをお送りしますのでご心配いりません。

もちろん、「間違いがあればその都度訂正して欲しい」という希望をお持ちでしたら、そのようにさせていただきますので遠慮なくおっしゃってください。
