What are idioms?
Idioms is a type of way to explain what one wants to say to others with very short sentences, which can be very useful when it comes to conveying ones thoughts in a conversational way.
Although there are many Idioms around that's not being used today on a daily basis in a conversational way, many of them are very important to know when it comes to having a conversation with somone who is speaking in English with you, due to the fact that many native English speakers tend to use a lot of them as a normal way of speaking from time to time.
Leraning Idioms is a great way to help one's self to become more confident when it comes to speaking with someone in English in a conversational way,
But please make a note of this...
Not every idiom that you learn in an English conversational book and or that a person teaches is being used today. Many of them are no longer being used, like how it was once used in the past.
Idioms are like poem phrases that is continually being reinvented everyday to match up with today's generation.
