课程介绍
このクラスではもう一歩踏み込んだ下記の内容を含む医療英語を学びます。
・一般用語vs 医療用語
・診断、病気の説明
・治療、処置、予後などの説明
事前にトライアルで英語のレベルチェックを行いそれぞれの生徒さんの要望・ニーズまたは診療科に合わせて課題を決めて資料を準備します。英語のレベルに不安がある方は「医療英会話 I」を取られてから「医療英会話 II」を受けられることをお勧めします。
クラス受講に関しては、それぞれの生徒さんの英語のレベルにもよりますが、１つの課題につき２～３回のレッスンを予定します（下記の課題例をご参照ください）。
課題例：患者さんへの簡単な説明（良性発作性頭位めまい症 ＆ エプリー法）
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo or BPPV is a specific type of vertigo. It is a spinning sensation that occurs when making certain head movements such as rolling over, looking up or looking down, lasting for about 20 seconds.
This spinning sensation is often caused by a problem in the inner ear.
The inner ear has a balance organ made of the semicircular canals, utricle, and saccule. In the utricle there are small calcium crystals to help control your balance.
In BPPV, these small crystals become dislodged and displaced into one of the semicircular canals, affecting the messages sent from your inner ear to your brain, causing a spinning sensation.
To treat BPPV, the Epley maneuver is often used. The Epley maneuver is a simple noninvasive approach to treating BPPV. This maneuver involves a series of head movements that help relocate the crystals back into your utricle where they belong.
まず、クラスで学んだ文章を発音やイントネーションに気を付けてスラスラいえるようになるまで練習します。必ず毎日少なくとも１時間は声を出して復習してください。
