English Learning Request – Vocabulary Building & Listening Improvement

I have been studying English for more than 20 years, but I still often struggle to fully understand spoken English—especially in movies or dramas without subtitles. I feel that my biggest challenge is vocabulary size, which affects both listening and overall comprehension.

I have tried methods such as using Anki and reading English magazines. They help, but not enough for my goals. I also frequently attend meetings with companies from other countries, so I need vocabulary that is practical, memorable, and directly useful in real conversations.

What I’m Looking For

I’m looking for lessons that can:

Help me systematically expand my vocabulary

Improve listening comprehension with real, natural English

Strengthen my ability to memorize and recall new words

Teach me how to apply vocabulary in business discussions and daily conversation

Include structured exercises or homework to reinforce learning

Vocabulary Memory Training (Important for me)

I am especially interested in learning effective memorization techniques, such as:

Association methods (creating mental images or stories)

Connecting vocabulary with personal experiences or memorable events

Breaking down words (prefixes, roots, suffixes) to understand patterns

Spaced repetition strategies guided by the teacher

Any other proven memory methods the teacher prefers

I hope the teacher can include these techniques in the lessons so vocabulary becomes easier to remember and more natural to use.

Suggested Lesson Structure (Flexible)

Vocabulary Focus (Theme-based)
Each lesson introduces 10–20 words related to specific topics such as business, technology, daily life, common conversation phrases, etc.
→ Including memory tips on how to recall each word effectively.

Listening Practice with Real Materials
Use short clips from movies, dramas, interviews, or business conversations.
→ Teacher explains vocabulary, accents, connected speech, and common expressions.

Speaking Practice & Usage Training
Use the new vocabulary in short conversations, role-plays, or mini-presentations to strengthen retention.

Review & Homework
Summary of new vocabulary, example sentences, and memory exercises (e.g., simple Anki cards, fill-in-the-blank, matching, or short writing tasks).

My Goal

To understand natural spoken English more confidently and to build a larger, more useful vocabulary for business meetings and daily communication.

프리토킹을 해도 ‘네’, ‘아니요’ 밖에 말하지 못하고,
질문에도 간단한 대답만 하게 되는 것이 고민이에요...

그래서 “그렇군요”, “그러니까요”, “그렇네요”, “맞아요” 같은
리액션 표현이나 질문 문장을 연습하고 싶어요.

제가 말하지 못했던 표현들이나 제가 틀린 표현들을
복습할 수 있도록 정리해서 피드백을 해주시는 선생님이면 좋겠습니다.

8年前にJLPTN3を合格しました。
これから、N2とN1を合格したいと思います。
後は日本の教員免許も取りたいと思います。

英語学習アドバイザーをしています。もっと生徒によいアドバイスや学習計画を立ててあげられるようになりたいので、この方面のコーチングの仕方を教えてくださる講師の方がいらっしゃいましたら、受講を希望します。

小1、小4の男児の英会話、国際学校入学インタビューの準備、maptestを教えていただける先生を探しています。
現在韓国在住。二人とも日本語、韓国語可能。
日本への駐在が急に決まり、2026年夏の入学を目指しています。
小1は英語の塾に１年通い、小4は英語の塾2年通っています。が、会話等はなかなか難しいので
国際学校入学面接用を主に、授業をしていただける先生を希望します。

独学で勉強しているため、アウトプットする機会があまり無く、そのせいか聞き取りや話すことが苦手です。
『韓国語でこんな事を話したい！』『韓国語では何と言うの？』など質問もしたいので日本語で意思疎通できる先生を希望いたします。
