I’m a Japanese pianist living in Poland.
After graduating from a music college in Japan, I worked as a piano instructor at Yamaha Music Retailing Sapporo. She also runs her own music school in Hokkaido. After that, I went to Poland, the country of Chopin, to study music and obtained a Master of Art degree. Now, I moved from Japan to Poland because I felt the need to study more deeply. At the graduate school of the Polish State Conservatory of Music in Krakow, I’m studying Chopin's mazurkas, the 3 major sonatas of Beethoven's late period, and the major works of Debussy, who loved Japan very much.
Player Career
I career as a piano player includes winning various piano competitions in Japan, winning the first prize in the chamber music category (no age limit) at an international competition in Switzerland, and performing at the exposition of TOYOTA's hydrogen car at the Museum of Japanese Technology in Krakow, Poland, on a YAMAHA piano, which was available only on this occasion, with a Japanese Performed Chopin as an artist in front of the Ambassador of the Japanese Embassy in Poland. Currently performing in Europe and Japan.
Teaching Career
I have over 13 years of experience teaching piano in Japan and 3 years in Poland, and my base is to understand the joy of playing the piano and to enrich their daily lives. A student of my in Japan also won the 1st prize in a national competition and received an excellent teacher award. I won the 3rd prize in an international competition in Poland. I have a proven track record of nurturing future musicians by sending a number of students from Hokkaido to Tokyo's historic music academies.
From the viewpoint of "playing the piano" = "playing an instrument," I teach how to read music and how to use the body for playing the piano. I also provide lessons that include the historical background of piano music.
