Bonjour, Lissa, enchantée!

I’m a French native speaker from Paris, with a multicultural background that shapes my unique approach to teaching. Growing up in France with roots in both Japan and Africa, I bring a global perspective to every lesson, helping students not only learn the language but also understand the cultural nuances that come with it.

I also bring my African roots to the lesson: did you know that French is spoken by 130 million people across 34 countries in Africa? This rich diversity is part of what makes the French language so dynamic and fascinating.

For me, learning French is all about making a personal connection. That’s why I focus on your passions—whether it’s culture, music, literature or cuisine, so by incorporating this, we’ll dive into the language through something that excites you. These interests become a bridge to help you engage with French more deeply and appreciate its rich cultural context.

Together, we’ll explore French in a way that’s engaging, enriching, and meaningful.

 

 My background:

  • Experienced Teacher & Certified Life coach:
    I am a French qualified lawyer and hold an ICF-accredited life coaching certification, giving me the tools to offer a structured and professional approach to language learning. Whether you’re looking to improve your French for business, everyday communication, or personal growth, I bring a tailored, thoughtful approach to each lesson. As a coach, I’m especially skilled at helping shy students build their confidence, stay motivated, and overcome mental blocks during their learning journey.

 

 

 How I Can Help You:

  • French Conversations Lessons:
    I specialize in teaching students, particularly those who may feel shy or hesitant. My lessons focus on real-life conversation, where you can practice French naturally, whether for casual chats or professional dialogue. We’ll discuss topics that matter to you, like fashion, culture, cooking, and work-life balance, all in a supportive, empowering environment where you can feel confident speaking freely.

  • Precision in Language & Business Communication:
    Drawing on my legal background, I emphasize precision in language—essential for business settings and professional communication. We’ll work on refining your oral and written skills, helping you express yourself clearly, confidently, and effectively in French.

  • Personalized Coaching:
    As a certified life coach, I also specialize in helping students build the confidence and motivation they need to succeed. I create a non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable speaking and gradually overcome any language barriers. My coaching will help you stay focused, overcome any mental blocks, and achieve your language goals.
