So, you're considering learning French. Congratulations!
But before you decide to click on the "book" button, you might have a lot of questions. Let me help you with that.

 

＊ Why are you learning French?
 

- You work for a French company.

- You're planning a trip to Paris or another French-speaking country.

- You've recently moved to France or another French-speaking location.

- After taking a break for several years, you're excited about rediscovering French (it's never too late!)

- You have a keen interest in French literature.

- You're a music enthusiast and are looking for a teacher who shares similar interests, whether it's classical music, French pop music, exploring African music, or playing musical instruments.

 

＊ Who are my students? 

- My students include adults such as housewives, salary men and women, as well as retirees.

- Currently, I am instructing University professors, HR directors, and female entrepreneurs.

- I specialize in teaching individuals with shy personalities, so there's no need to worry!

=> Note that I am not offering lessons for children at the moment.

 

＊ How often can you take a lesson with me ?

- I adapt to your pace and schedule! Whether it's once or several times per week, it's completely flexible and entirely up to you.

- French Essentials for Beginners: from 0 to A2! (25, 40 or 55 min): Tailored for those starting from scratch, covering foundational elements up to A2 proficiency.
- Conversation Lesson from A2 levels: Engaging discussions at the A2 level where the subject is your choice.
- Guided Conversation based on Articles and Videos: "La France en VO (version originale): une immersion dans la société française." Dive into French society through guided conversations linked to articles and videos.
- Customized Lesson: Any Specific Request: I'm here to address your specific needs and requests with a personalized lesson.
- French Book Club - Club de Lecture: Explore French literature together, delving into books and discussing them in our book club.
- Note: I do not prepare for exams (DELF, DALF).

 

＊My method. 
 

- For Beginners: I employ a personalized approach, creating my own materials centered around conversations. After each class, I provide audio files containing sentences and vocabulary, complemented by a PDF summary of the lesson.

- Emphasis on Conversations: The majority of my lessons are conversation-based. The goal is to learn a language to communicate effectively, emphasizing practical usage rather than becoming experts in theoretical grammar rules. 
 

＊ Who am I as your teacher  ? 
 

- Born and Raised in France: I'm a genuine Parisian, born and raised in France, particularly in Paris.

- Diverse Cultural Background: My cultural roots are highly diverse; I am half Japanese and half African, having spent my formative years growing up in France.

- Passionate about Music: Culture is a significant part of my life. I am a music explorer (play the piano, tried the cello, discovered the Handpan, Dong Xiao, and now exploring the sound of the Kora), and have a deep appreciation for classical music.
- Avid Reader : I must admit that I collect more books than I can possibly read! My literary interests span French, English, Japanese, and African authors.

- I am a French qualified lawyer.

- I am an ICF certified life coach (ICF: International Coaching Federation).

- 3 years experience teaching French and English to adults both online and offline.

- French is my native language.

- I am fluent in English, having lived and worked in London for 10 years.

- Currently, I am on a language learning journey, acquiring intermediate proficiency in both Chinese and Japanese.
- I have an upper intermediate level in German.
