Hello! My name is Dr. Greg and I live in Venice, Florida. I taught English to students for twenty-five years in Minnesota before moving to Florida to escape the cold weather. The age of my students ranged from 16 years old to over 70 years old. I have learned you are never too young – or too old to learn!
I am not only a teacher, but I have been a student for most of my life. I received my Ed.D. from the University of Sarasota, my M.A. from Mankato State University and my B.A. from the University of Minnesota. I really do believe in education but also, because of my experience taking classes, I understand how difficult it can be trying to learn a new subject, I have been there myself. My goal is to help you to become successful!!!
In addition to teaching English, I have taught psychology for over 25 years. I can help you with your personal and confidential problems that you do not feel comfortable talking about with anyone else. It is healthy, both mentally and physically to talk about and work through your personal and private problems. If you need someone to talk to and equally important, someone who will listen to you, please consider talking one of my classes. It goes without saying, our conversations are always confidential.
Whether you are just starting to learn English or you are trying to improve your English proficiency, regardless of your age, I will be there to help you get through the challenges that learning a new language can present. Most importantly, I have the experience necessary to help you achieve your goal, whether it is to learn English or to resolve a personal issue. Together, we can do it!
