Zeenath 講師的自我介紹

Hello! My name is Zeenath. 

I am a tutor with more than 3 and a half years experience teaching students across Asia. My students are mainly from Japan, however I have also taught learners from Korea, Thailand and Taiwan. 

I graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology in 2024 and I am completing the 120 hour TEFL course as well.

Psychology is one of my favorite subjects and I spent 4 months as a student intern in a psychotherapy and counselling center. 

In addition to my love for psychology and the human mind, I enjoy writing poems and essays in my free time. I also love taking pictures of nature and the ocean.


And sunsets and sunrises too! 


As a Sri Lankan, I love tea and coffee and often visit cafes in my free time to enjoy some. 

In terms of teaching, I would love to tutor mainly adults, university students, and advanced learners who want to improve their fluency, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills. 

I think free conversations about every day topics is the key to improving one's speaking skills. It can be about food, travel, culture, clothes, music, economies, hobbies, education or any topic the students are interested in. 
 
I believe learning English should feel natural and enjoyable, not tiring or boring, so I encourage lots of conversations and active participation during class.

And do not worry about making mistakes! That is all a part of learning. I am always happy to help and correct any mistakes!
