Do you ever feel like...

"I know the grammar, but I still can't speak naturally."

If so, you're not alone.

My specialty is helping students turn textbook Japanese into natural Japanese that people actually use in everyday conversations.

Before becoming a Japanese teacher, I worked for many years as a department store and apparel manager, where communication with customers was essential. Later, I also worked as a childcare teacher.

Through these experiences, I realized that being grammatically correct isn't always enough to communicate well in Japanese.

Of course, correct grammar and polite Japanese are important.

However, in real life—whether at work or in everyday situations—what matters even more is choosing the right way to speak for the person and the situation.

Even in business, people don't always speak in the stiff, textbook-style Japanese that many learners study.

Good communication is about being polite while also sounding warm, natural, and approachable.

In my lessons, I don't just explain grammar.

I'll also show you things like:

  • "This is how Japanese people would naturally say it."
  • "This expression sounds softer and more friendly."

You'll learn the Japanese that people actually use in daily life.

Whether your goal is JLPT, conversation, customer service, or business Japanese, I'll tailor each lesson to your level and your needs.

Let's work together to turn the Japanese you know into Japanese you can use naturally and confidently!

[For beginners ]

Don’t worry if you only know Hiragana or Katakana! I provide English support to help you start "speaking" from day one,. Let’s aim for comfortable daily conversation in just 3 months!

English support is available and adjusted flexibly based on what you need, so even if an all-Japanese lesson feels daunting, you're in safe hands 

[For intermediate learners ]

  • Many people have studied Japanese for a long time but still feel they can't speak naturally in conversation.

    In my lessons, we'll practice rephrasing your Japanese to fit different situations. You'll learn how to express yourself naturally in a variety of contexts—from professional conversations at work to casual chats with friends and family.

    Rather than using overly formal or textbook expressions, you'll practice saying the same thing in a more natural, heartfelt way.

    Through repeated rephrasing exercises, you'll develop more natural conversational skills and gain the confidence to speak Japanese with ease.

 

Lesson Style

Real-Time Learning Document
During each lesson, we'll create a personalized learning document together in real time. We'll record new vocabulary, useful expressions, corrections, and notes as we go, so you can review everything after the lesson.

Your Japanese Journey Notebook
After every lesson, I'll update your notebook with the expressions, vocabulary, grammar points, and personalized notes you've learned. It becomes your own growing record of your Japanese journey.



Camera Policy (Flexible for your comfort!）

  •  Camera OFF is Welcome! (Anime/Voice Acting, Osaka Dialect, or Consultation): Perfect for when you want to focus entirely on your voice or just stay in your pajamas!
  • Camera ON Recommended: For intensive conversation practice, seeing facial expressions and mouth movements helps you improve much faster.
I’m happy to adapt to your learning needs. Please note that my camera setting will match yours: if your camera is on, mine will be on too; if yours is off, mine will be off as well.

  • Osaka Native: Experience the warm, friendly, and authentic world of the Osaka dialect!,
  • Anime Fanatic: I have full collections of Demon Slayer, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, and Attack on Titan. Let’s use your favorite scenes as our textbook!,
  • Friendly & Curious: I love traveling and learning languages (currently studying Chinese!). I truly understand the challenges of learning a new language
