Hello everyone!

My name is Suja. I am a qualified and experienced English teacher holding TESOL-certification, IELTS teacher-training and CELPIP-certification and am actively involved in workshops with other IELTS teachers and trainers. (You'll find my verified qualifications listed on my profile)

I've been teaching English and IELTS online for several years and have lived and worked in Singapore, the UK, and Australia. Over the years, I’ve helped many learners achieve their goals — from IELTS and CELPIP success to performing confidently in school tests, university interviews, and job interviews.

My lessons are interactive, supportive, and results-focused. Whether you want to speak more fluently and naturally, expand your vocabulary, or achieve your target score in IELTS or CELPIP, I’ll guide you step by step with personalized feedback and proven strategies.

I also offer a comprehensive English curriculum designed to strengthen your speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills — especially for real-life and workplace communication. In my classes, you’ll learn how to express your ideas clearly, use vocabulary that fits the context, and gain confidence to speak naturally in any situation.


How will my lessons help you?


The lessons I have designed on Cafetalk are aimed at increasing your confidence, fluency and command of English. Through our sessions, we will  work on clear pronunciation and accent reduction to ensure you deliver your ideas with clarity and convey them in a coherent and an engaging way.


I am happy to customise classes for those of you who have specific learning objectives. Please let me know if this is what you want. 



How do I sound?

I speak with a clear accent and will adjust my pace of speech, if you are a beginner so that you understand me. 

My focus will be on what is important for you , which is to ensure that you achieve your goals effectively and keep up with language practice.

What do I do outside of work?

I love to sketch, walk nature-trails, attend performacnes and cultural theatreworks. I enjoy travelling too and have covered several countries over the years. I am an active member of various urban sketching groups which meet regularly to sketch plein air (outdoors).  Chat with me to find out more on the techniques I use, if this is your favourite hobby too!
