Hello everyone!
My name is Sakura.

What motivated you to start learning Japanese?
It could be anime, work, or travel. I am sure there are many reasons.
When you first start learning a new language, it’s fun being able to get better and better at it, but there may also be times when you don’t feel like you are improving at all.
But the key to improving your language skills is to keep on going!
New encounters, unknown worlds, and new discoveries waiting for you at the beginning of your journey on learning a new language, or even new discoveries about your own language.


★ About My Lessons ★
I focus on providing a relaxed atmosphere and making sure every student can participate in a lot of conversation.
I will teach correct grammar, pronunciation, and natural Japanese as much as possible.
We will be using Japanese during the lesson.
But don’t worry if you think your Japanese is not yet good!
I will speak in Japanese appropriate to your level, so please don’t worry too much (＾＾)b
If necessary, I can speak in English as well.
If you have any requests for your lessons, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I will propose a lesson tailored to your needs.


★ About Myself ★
I have been a Japanese language tutor for around 6 years.
I also teach at a Japanese language school. I am now a mother of two children.
I have lived in Australia for a year, as well as in Vietnam for a year.
 
This is a picture from when I was teaching in Vietnam. My lovely students wished me a happy birthday.



When I visit a country, I always try a variety of their dishes!


I enjoy traveling, although I have not been able to do so recently.
I have been to Taiwan and South Korea five or six times.
Traveling and eating delicious food is my ultimate indulgence.

Looking back at my picture makes me hungry lol

● History
　I studied history at university. I am interested in the history and traditions of various countries.

● Talking with people from other countries
　Of course I am sometimes puzzled by the differences in cultures and ways of thinking, but I feel delighted when I find that even though we are from different cultures, we have the same things in common.
　For me, both experiencing different cultures and learning about history are the same in the sense that it allows me to encounter new values, and both are interesting.

● Languages
　I enjoy studying languages.
　Besides for English and Korean, I have studied Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese. (Although I have forgotten most of them＾＾；)

● Film and TV Dramas
　Ghibli films.
　Taiga dramas.
　Also, although it’s not a Japanese drama...I love an American drama “The Big Bang Theory!”

● Manga
　One Piece

● Music
　Southern All Stars, Yumi Matsutoya, and more recently, Yoasobi and Ado are my favorites!
