Hi!! I am Rika from Indonesia. I am an English Teacher. I currently teach English online to some students. I got both my bachelor's degree and master's degree in English Education. I have taught English for 9 years in Indonesia and 2 years in Japan. During this period, my students ranged from toddlers to professional adults. I primarily teach General English, English for Kids, TOEFL preparation, and Conversation classes.
 
I live in Indonesia now. I once lived and taught in Japan for two years. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I love everything about Japan, the food, the people, the facility, and how they put detail on small things that matter a lot. This is me when I visited Shirakawa go!!


I also learned some basic conversations while in Japan but still struggled with them. During my stay in Japan, I got to know some superb Japanese who love Indonesian culture. Together with them, we performed angklung and cooked Indonesian food together!! I also love japanese food, especially ramen. 
 
As I learned Japanese while I was living in Japan, I can feel that learning a language is not an easy thing to deal . Me myself was (and is) still struggling reading, writing and understanding japanese

Aside from teaching, I love travelling to some unpopular places and trying 'hidden gems' of new food. I also love watching K-drama and listening to some K-Pop music. Recently, I have listened to BTS songs a lot.


Besides, I enjoy relistening to 2000 hits like Westlife, N'sync, Simple Plan, My Chemical Romance, and more. I can tell I have no specific music genre I like the most. For most of my free time, I would draw my favourite kawaii characters on my iPad. Here is my digital drawing!
Ah, I also love watching Harry potter and Sherlock Holmes, if you like them too, feel free to talk about them with me :)
