Hello everyone, my name is Anna. I am an English tutor who enjoys helping students feel more comfortable and natural when speaking English.

I can be quite shy in my personal life, although I become much more confident in the classroom. I feel this helps me understand students who are introverted, nervous, or simply need a little extra support when speaking English. Because of this, I try to create a calm and relaxed space where students can take their time and feel at ease.

I was born in Europe and grew up in the United States. I have always been interested in language, stories, history, philosophy, and different cultures. I especially enjoy meeting students from Japan and learning about their way of thinking and daily life.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy quiet and creative hobbies such as writing, music, reading, painting, baking, and dancing. I like things that feel calm, expressive, and thoughtful.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and easy to follow. If you feel shy or nervous speaking English, that is completely okay. We will go slowly and take things step by step, so you never feel rushed or pressured. I will help you build simple sentences and guide you when you are unsure, so speaking English feels more natural over time.

We will focus on useful everyday English, simple conversation, and practical expressions you can actually use in real life. You can always take your time, pause when you need, and speak at your own pace. The goal is not perfection, we simply want to achieve comfort and progress.

If you are not sure where to start, that is also fine. We can begin with a trial lesson and simply talk. I will listen to your goals and help you find a way of learning that feels comfortable for you.
