Hello everyone!
My name is Suja. I am an experienced, professional English teacher who is TESOL-certified, IELTS teacher-trained and CELPIP-certified.
I've been teaching English online for over nine years now and have lived and worked in Singapore, the UK and Australia. I have coached numerous test candidates through their test preparations in IELTS, CELPIP, schools tests, university or college entry-interviews and work interviews.
I also offer a comprehensive curriculum in English which places focus on improving speaking, reading, writing and listening skills for the workplace. In my classes you will learn what it means to speak naturally , how to articulate your views and use vocabulary that works within the context of your conversation.
How will my lessons help you?
The lessons I have designed on Cafetalk are aimed at increasing your confidence, fluency and command of English. Through our sessions, we will work on clear pronunciation and accent reduction to ensure you deliver your ideas with clarity and convey them in a coherent and an engaging way.
I am happy to customise classes for those of you who have specific learning objectives. Please let me know if this is what you want.
How do I sound?
I speak with a clear accent and will adjust my pace of speech, if you are a beginner so that you understand me.
My focus will be on what is important for you , which is to ensure that you achieve your goals effectively and keep up with language practice.

What do I do outside of work?
I love to sketch, walk nature-trails, attend plays and cultural theatreworks and art festivals. I also travel whenever I can and have covered several countries across the world. I am a member of urban sketching groups which meet regularly to sketch plein air (outdoors). Chat with me to find out more if these are your favourite hobbies too!
