Hello! I'm Lwando, your Online English Teacher

Welcome to my profile! I am Lwando, and I have the privilege of being your guide on your journey to mastering the English language. With a couple of months of experience, I have developed a deep passion for helping students achieve their language goals and gain confidence in their communication skills.

I hold a TEFL certification and have recently taught students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. My teaching approach is rooted in the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method, which emphasizes real-life communication and interactive learning. I believe that language learning should be fun, engaging, and relevant to your daily life. Here’s a bit more about my teaching style:

My Teaching Style: Communicative Language Teaching (CLT)

In my classes, you can expect a lot of speaking and listening activities designed to help you use English in practical, everyday situations. We will engage in role-plays, group discussions, and problem-solving exercises to build your confidence and fluency. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

What to Expect in My Classes:

  • Real-World Context: We will work with authentic materials and scenarios that you might encounter in real life, from travel situations to business meetings.

  • Fun and Enjoyable Learning: Learning a new language should be an enjoyable experience, so I incorporate games, multimedia, and other fun activities into our lessons.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing instruments and just music in general, which often inspires my lesson themes and activities. I am committed to helping you not only learn English but also enjoy the process.
