Hi, I'm Evie! I love to support people to achieve their goals in life, and in their language learning journey.

About me:

  • I have experience teaching preschool, elementary, high school, and adult students.
  • I am a recent college graduate
  • I studied abroad in Osaka, taught at a Japanese high school, and live in Japan now
  • I can speak a little Japanese
  • A am a cheerful and silly teacher 

 

My favorite part about being an educator is the bond between me and my students. I always learn something new in the process, and it's so rewarding to see how joyful it can be to make progress together! 

I recently graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in Wildlife Biology. I am a huge bird nerd, and have enjoyed teaching birds to all ages for 5 years. 

 

 


About my Lessons:

  • If conversational fluency is your primary goal we will be a great fit!
  • My lessons are casual, but I will ensure you are making progress my providing detailed feedback.
  • I want you to use English in a fun way! My lessons are focused primarily on your interests and passions.

Since I am a nerd, I offer lessons where you can learn english by talking to me about your favorite games, anime, and shows. We can also talk about music! I love j-pop and k-pop.

I reccomend my lessons to high-school learners or adults who are feeling unmotivated in their english learning, and want to start making progress again.
