Hello! I’m a native English speaker from the United States. I’m certified in TEFL/TESOL, but what makes me different is that I have an advanced degree (PhD) in communication sciences. This means I have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of speech and language. I’ve been successfully teaching English since 2013. I’ve helped many students overcome barriers to learning English as a second language, supporting them to reach their personal and professional goals.


Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced English learner, I believe the learning process should be all about YOU. Every learner is unique, and every person faces his or her own challenges in learning English. My job is to work with you to overcome those barriers. As your tutor, I can help you with:

•            pronunciation/accent modification

•            vocabulary

•            grammar

•            the unwritten “rules” of using English appropriately
