Nice to meet you! I’m Jinu, and I live in Seoul.
I run a K-pop dance cover YouTube channel with about 10,000 subscribers. I stay up to date on idols’ new songs, performances, dance challenges, and Korean fan culture by actually practicing and filming new K-pop choreography.
If you love K-POP, let’s chat about your favorite artists and idols, new songs, choreography, performances, concerts, and how you support your favorite K-POP biases. Instead of just memorizing vocabulary and grammar, you can pick up natural expressions that Koreans actually use by having conversations about topics you’re passionate about.
Of course, beyond K-POP, we can freely chat about a wide range of topics, including traveling in South Korea, life in Seoul, food, cafes, office life, and personal interests.
I majored in Media and Information Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and minored in French. I currently work in SCM at a Japanese medical device company. I have continued to study Japanese and achieved a score of 760 on the JPT. I can answer questions and provide necessary explanations in Japanese during lessons.
In my own experience learning foreign languages, I’ve faced the challenge of knowing vocabulary and grammar but still struggling to find the right words in real-life conversations. That’s why, in my lessons, I prioritize creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can speak freely without worrying about making mistakes.
I’ll correct unnatural sentences or expressions in a way that’s easy to understand, without interrupting the flow of conversation unnecessarily. I’ll also introduce more natural ways of saying things that Koreans commonly use in similar situations.
This course is recommended for the following learners:
・Those who want to talk about their favorite K-POP songs and idols in Korean
・Those who want to learn natural Korean that’s hard to pick up from textbooks alone
・Those who want to practice conversation for use while traveling in Korea or in daily life

・Those who want to start with ease, by receiving support in Japanese at first
Rather than focusing on specialized test preparation or difficult grammar lectures, I aim to provide practical conversation lessons tailored to each student’s interests and level.
