About Me

Hi, I'm Dee — a native English speaker from Jamaica. I studied at a graduate school in London, UK, before moving to Japan, where I've now lived for 10 years. By profession, I'm both a City Designer and an English Teacher — I currently teach at a Japanese school and run my own English program for students of all ages.

Teaching Style

I built my teaching style around one belief: you learn best when you're not afraid to make mistakes. As a City Designer, I'm trained to design experiences — and I bring that same thinking into my lessons, favoring role-play and real-life scenarios over rote textbook drills.
