Hello everyone, my name is Anna. I am an English teacher who helps students in Japan improve their speaking confidence through calm, structured, and supportive lessons.

Many of my students are shy or nervous when speaking English, especially when preparing for exams such as IELTS, TOEIC, or EIKEN, or when using English in school, work, or daily life. I understand this feeling very well, and like to create a relaxed and safe environment where you can speak slowly, think comfortably, and improve step by step. There is no pressure to be perfect, we will simply focus on steady, clear progress.

 

My teaching style is warm, patient, and structured. In each lesson, I help you:

  • build simple and natural English sentences

  • correct speaking mistakes in real time

  • prepare for IELTS speaking, TOEIC speaking, and EIKEN speaking sections

  • improve pronunciation and clarity

  • and gradually speak with more confidence in everyday situations

You will not only practice conversation, you will also receive clear guidance so you can understand how to improve your English over time.

I was born in Europe and grew up in the United States. I have always been interested in language, culture, and communication. I especially enjoy working with students from Japan, and I respect the effort it takes to speak English confidently in daily life, study, and work.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy quiet and creative hobbies such as reading, writing, music, painting, bird watching, and baking. I try to bring this calm and thoughtful energy into my lessons, so students feel relaxed and supported.

My lessons are gentle, but also structured and focused. We will practice useful everyday English, simple conversation, and practical expressions that you can use immediately.

If you feel shy, nervous, or unsure about speaking English, that is completely okay. I will guide you step by step, help you when you get stuck, and support you so that speaking English becomes easier over time.

If you are not sure where to start, we can begin with a trial lesson. I will listen to your goals, check your speaking level, and suggest a simple study plan based on your needs.

My goal is to help you build confidence, clarity, and steady improvement in English speaking.
