Hello. I’m Tomoko Maestra, an art instructor.
After studying at Osaka University of Arts and working as a professional, I moved to Italy, the heartland of art, driven by a desire to see a broader world.
While living in Italy, I engaged with various forms of expression, including art, design, crafts, and challenged myself in numerous contests. Gratefully, I received several awards while in Milan, where I balanced my work as a designer while cherishing time with my family.
Then one day, the kindergarten my child attended asked me if I’d like to “start an art class.” That request marked the beginning of my current art studio.
Starting from that small classroom, I now art programs enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to adults, as well as seniors.
Note: My lessons utilize cameras on both sides, the student and instructor, to offer an interactive session.

I encourage free expression through colors and shapes while fully engaging the senses to nurture observation skills and imagination. Beginners and experienced students alike are more than welcome.
*For junior high and high school students...
This is a stage where you can develop a balanced blend of sensitivity and technique, while deepening your unique form of expression. For those pursuing art-related career paths, I also provide exam preparation assistance and mental health guidance.
*For adults...
Through creative time, why not find your inner calmness or add a little color to your daily life? Whether you’re a beginner in the arts or picking up a brush after a long time, you can enjoy my lessons at your own pace.
Additionally, I provide a safe space for children with diverse needs, including children with developmental challenges or who are refusing to go to school, to express themselves more freely. I support each child’s unique interests and strengths, helping them build confidence and bringing smiles to their faces.
Art is a magical tool that anyone can enjoy, regardless of age or experience, helping you love yourself even more.
From beginners, those taking a break from art, and even first-time artists, are all more than welcome in my lessons!
