Hello! My name is Tsubaki.
I live in Shizuoka, Japan.

【I took this photo when I was paragliding near mt.Fuji!! 】
I used to work as a police officer for 5 years. I was always interested in the world and other cultures so I began to study English on my own. Along with that, I also studied hard to become a Japanese teacher. Now after all this time I have finally became a Japanese teacher!!
When I began studying English, it was very difficult and at times I wanted to give up....! However, I preserved and with the help of my foreign friends, I became confident with my English skills! Learning another language added so much to my life because I made many friends and connections all throughout the world and created memories I will forever cherish!!! :)
【They are my friends who met in America!!】
This is why I want to help give other people the same opportunity! When I taught my friend Japanese, they told me “This is so fun! I’d really love to continue studying Japanese!” This made me happy and gave me the motivation to teach Japanese and share Japanese culture with foreigners.
From my experience, I can understand how difficult and often times discouraging it is to learn a new language. However, I would like to tell you all that it is so worth it and learning a new language will open up a whole new world and countless opportunities!!
Within my Japanese lessons, I would like to create an atmosphere where my students feel comfortable to be themselves and not be afraid to make mistakes. I love meeting new people and talking with them so I am really looking forward to creating friendships with my students and helping them reach their Japanese goals.
It doesn’t matter your level in Japanese, let’s practice and keep improving together!
I can’t wait to see you in my Japanese lessons!:)
