I'm a language teacher, but I'm not very good at speaking (sweat), so I'm the type of person who would rather follow up with a review or feedback after lessons than telling those during the lessons. I prefer email magazines to blogs, and I'm embarrassed to introduce this picture below, as I think the written version conveys more of an impression than the lesson itself.

I carefully handcraft each class in order to produce a safe and delicate moment of encounter
that softly opens the door to the heart,
and supports people to connect to the essence of the shining heart within them,
and to grow in a relationship rather than a one-way street. )

To some people, this may seem like an inefficient job.

However, I love to prepare for my classes while thinking about each student (lol).

I feel happiest to see the smiles on the students' faces and the light in their hearts when they are able to do something they couldn't do before✨

【My Career as a Tutor】

・I have been teaching Japanese for 3 years in Korea and 17 years in Japan. (I also teach English and Korean a little).

・In a national university in Korea, I was awarded the "Excellent Lecture Award" in the first year of teaching. 

・Many students passed the JLPT Level 1, and I have experience in supporting students to enter Japanese universities.

・Specializing in conversation and writing education at Japanese universities (academic writing such as research proposals)

・Japanese language support for returnee children (for elementary and junior high school students)

・Business Japanese and Korean language instruction (mainly in the service industry): language instruction for staff of airlines, major hotels, and Japanese inns

【Self Introduction】
안녕하세요. Hi, nice to meet you. My name is GUCCI and I teach Japanese, Korean, and psychology courses. The following self-introduction will be long, so please bear with me if you are up to the challenge.
 
I originally specialized in Japanese, but after teaching Japanese in Korea, I now teach Korean as well, and I also teach card reading and psychology using my specialty, muscle reflex testing. Let me explain one by one.
Whether it's Japanese or Korean, I just love to teach ❤️.
I also have OPI tester certification, which is a test to evaluate conversational ability, and I have been studying how to make Japanese conversation more natural.
I believe there is a connection between conversation and writing skills, and I have a lot of experience in teaching writing, so I would like to offer a class that utilizes my specialty at Cafetalk.


I can offer professional Japanese lessons, but in terms of Korean lessons, I offer them in a fun and casual way.
We use K-pop and drama videos, and think about how to express Japanese culture in Korean.
 
Even if you don't know how to read Hangul, you can learn by ear (as I did!). 
 
Let's customize and create a lesson just for you with a sense of fun rather than a rigid grammar study.
 

When I speak Korean, a character that is not my Japanese self comes out, and it makes me very happy. I would like to provide such a time for everyone learning Korean.

The teaching method that makes this possible is the "direct method". It is a method of teaching in the language of study without using the mother tongue, but it is not limited to that. It is a method of teaching that emphasizes the "introduction of meaning".
 
We can say that it is a teaching method that creates a new circuit in the brain by conveying the "meaning" before it becomes a "word" with various means such as picture cards, gestures, videos, and the energy of the place, etc., without using the mother tongue. 
 
This "not involving the native language" approach avoids the extra emotions and negative memories associated with learning a native language, and supports the formation of a new personality.

 

I know this is a bit difficult to talk about, but the reason why my lessons are "open to shy girls, shy people, HSPs, sensitive people, and quiet introverts!" is that I have studied psychology and neuroscience, and apply them to language education.

I hope to provide support for "connecting hearts with words". 


I am looking forward to meeting people who can learn and share knowledge together.
