Hello, I’m Sofia. Thank you for visiting my tutor profile.
I’m originally from Shanghai, China. After graduating from Tongji University in Shanghai, I earned an MBA from the University of Tsukuba Graduate School.
I have six years of career experience in Japan and currently live in Shanghai. I have worked in IT, advertising, and internet industries, and I am currently responsible for CRM and data analysis at a retail company.
My strengths include my experience working in both Japan and China, as well as my own experience learning foreign languages.
I started learning Japanese because I was a fan of Japanese idols. As I watched a lot of Japanese variety shows and dramas, my Japanese skills gradually improved, and I eventually passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1. After that, I was also able to achieve my goal of working in Japan. I love Japanese anime, dramas, and musicals. Even after returning to China, I still watch Japanese shows frequently. My favorite anime are “Haikyū!!” and “Demon Slayer.” Last year, I was so moved by the movie “Kokuho (National Treasure),” starring Ryo Yoshizawa, that I traveled to Japan twice just to see it.
Having worked at an international company for a long time, I can communicate fluently in English as well.
