Hi! I’m Teya from Barbados!

Let's make speaking English feel more natural, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Learning English is about more than memorizing vocabulary and grammar. It’s about developing the confidence to express yourself, communicate naturally, and feel comfortable using English in everyday life.

As an English teacher, I believe a great learning experience begins with patience, encouragement, and an understanding of each student’s individual needs. Every student learns differently, and everyone deserves the opportunity to learn at their own pace, ask questions, make mistakes, and grow without fear of embarrassment.

My lessons focus on practical English that you can use in real life. Through engaging conversations, useful vocabulary, and everyday topics, you’ll have opportunities to practise expressing yourself, improve your fluency, and become more confident communicating in English.

You don't need to speak perfect English to get started. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and I'll do my best to help you feel comfortable practicing and improving.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy puzzles, staying active, horror movies, and music. I also played the saxophone in an orchestra for six years!

If you’re looking for a supportive learning environment where your progress matters and you can develop your English one step at a time, I’d love to welcome you to class.
