Nice to meet you!

I’m Raon, a Korean language tutor living in Japan.

My interest in Korean language education began when I taught Korean while studying abroad in New Zealand. Afterward, I obtained a Korean language teaching certification so I could teach the language professionally.

I currently teach the Korean language in Japan.

I’ve supported many Japanese learners in their Korean studies over the years. Drawing on that experience, I strive to explain pronunciation, which Japanese learners often find challenging, as well as expressions that are prone to mistakes, in a clear and thorough manner.

Whether you’re just starting to learn Korean, studying on your own, or simply want to speak more naturally, you’re more than welcome in my lessons!

In my lessons, we won’t just focus on grammar, but rather, we’ll have fun learning “practical Korean” by practicing expressions commonly used in real-life conversations.

I also love talking about Korean dramas, K-POP, travel, and Korean culture. I’d be more than happy if learning Korean helps you feel more connected to South Korea.
