Hello everyone!

My name is Audrey, and I’m a TEFL and TESOL-certified online English teacher from Toronto, Canada. I graduated from the University of Western Ontario and have years of experience helping students improve their English skills.

Aside from English, I also speak Cantonese and intermediate-level Japanese, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language.

About Me

I love learning languages, reading, and taking long walks in nature. My reading list is diverse, from suspense and thriller novels to health, self-improvement, and travel books. As a passionate traveler, I’ve explored Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the US, and many parts of Asia, including Japan—my favorite country. I can’t wait to visit again.

私はオードリーです。カナダのトロントでTEFLTESOLの資格を持ち、経験豊富なオンライン英語教師です。私はウェスタンオンタリオ大学を卒業しました。

 英語の他に、広東語と少し日本語(中級レベル)も話せます。

 私の趣味は、言語を学ぶこと、読書をすること、そして森の中を長い散歩をすることです。サスペンスとスリラー、健康と栄養、自己改善、旅行、芸術などの記事や本を読むのが好きです。旅行も大好きです。ヨーロッパ、オーストラリア、ニュージーランド、米国、アジアを訪れました。日本は断然私のお気に入りの国であり、パンデミックが終わった後、また訪れる予定です。

 私はカフェトークで英語、広東語、ライフコーチング、ウェルネスのレッスンを提供しています。

About My English Lessons

You can improve your spoken English through casual, engaging conversations with me. Topics are flexible, and I will correct your mistakes in a way that helps you speak more naturally and confidently.

Many beginners and intermediate students rely on textbook-style conversations, but in reality, people don’t speak that way. I’ll help you sound more natural and fluent in English.

Learn by Doing

Children are the best language learners because they learn by speaking, not memorizing rules. Once you have a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary, the next step is consistent speaking practice.

Think of learning English like learning to ride a bike—you don’t master it by watching videos or reading books about bicycles. You become fluent by practicing and using the language in real conversations.

My Teaching Style

  1. Minimum Interruption, Maximum Learning
    I won’t correct every small mistake because constant interruptions can hurt your confidence. Instead, I’ll pause when needed to provide valuable feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary, ensuring you get the most out of your speaking time.

  2. You Speak Most of the Time
    My lessons are designed for you to speak at least 75% of the time. I’ll guide the conversation with questions and prompts to keep the discussion flowing.

  3. Real Conversations
    In our first lesson, I’ll ask about your interests so we can focus on topics you enjoy, such as hobbies, travel, sports, technology, health, and fitness.

I have 10 years of experience working in weight loss centers, health supplement stores, and fitness centers.

My Specialties in Nutrition and Wellness

  1. Healthy Weight Loss Through Proper Eating
    Losing weight doesn’t mean starving yourself or feeling miserable. Together, we’ll create a personalized diet plan that works for you. Weight loss is a journey, and I’ll support you every step of the way.

  2. General Health and Well-being
    I help clients manage stress, anxiety, and overall wellness through practical lifestyle changes.

How I Can Help You

I specialize in:
✔️ Weight loss strategies using proper nutrition and exercise
✔️ Menu planning so you know exactly what to eat
✔️ Natural health support through vitamins, minerals, herbs, and lifestyle improvements for issues like PMS, menopause, stress, and anxiety

Classes in nutrition and wellness are conducted in English.
Lecture notes in Japanese for topics like “Eating and Emotions, Stress, and Anxiety” are available upon request.
