Bonjour!

I’m a native French speaker from Paris, with a multicultural background that deeply influences my teaching style. I’m half Japanese, half African, and growing up with a diverse perspective on French culture has shaped how I approach language instruction. I bring this rich cultural blend into every lesson I teach. ?✨

MY LESSONS

＊Beginners (A0 to A2): Using pictures, videos, and quizzes, we’ll make rapid progress while having fun. From day one, you’ll be speaking French!??

＊Conversation Classes (B1 and above): We dive into topics like French culture, French-speaking countries, cuisine, fashion, current events, and more???. You'll not only practice your French but also immerse yourself in the culture.

＊Special Requests: Have specific goals or interests? Let me know, and I’ll tailor lessons just for you.✨?


MY TEACHING STYLE

＊As a former lawyer, I understand the importance of clear goals.? My lessons are relaxed but purposeful, ensuring you leave each session with a sense of achievement. I focus heavily on speaking practice?️ — many students reach an intermediate level and feel stuck when it comes to conversations. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an intermediate learner, we’ll work together to boost your confidence.

＊I also specialize in explaining cultural differences, providing you with the keys to understanding the French mindset. ??We’ll explore the richness of French-speaking African cultures ??— did you know that 62.5% of the 362 million French speakers worldwide live in Africa? There’s so much to discover!

I have a passion for working with shy students ? and helping them gain the confidence to speak French comfortably.?

 

WHO AM I?

＊A Polyglot: My language journey started with English,followed by German, Japanese, Chinese, and now Spanish. Learning a language is a marathon, not a sprint ?‍♀️?, and I’m still running! ?

＊A Music Explorer: I’ve dabbled in several instruments, from the piano ? and cello? to the Chinese Dong Xiao flute ? and, more recently, the handpan.

＊A Classical Music Lover: In the summer, I can’t resist the classical music festivals in Europe ? — Salzburg's being one of my favorites ??.

＊An Avid Reader: in French,English,Spanish... Always up for a challenge! ??

＊A Spiritual Explorer: I believe in the power of self-discovery ? and mindfulness ?‍♀️ to nurture inner peace and growth. ✨

Formerly a lawyer, I transitioned to become a certified life coach in 2023. This background enables me to guide you through not just language learning but also personal growth and confidence-building.?✨
