I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. すごく親切で丁寧に教えてくださいます。また、話しやすい雰囲気を使って作ってくださるので、恥ずかしく思いながらも繰り返し質問できます。

なんちゃって音読と精読の違いにショックを受けました。 今までわかるからと意訳で誤魔化していたところをしっかり文法を意識していことが大事、 自分がやっていたのは結局「なんちゃって」に過ぎなかったということがはっきりしてしまいましたました。これからは少しでも精読に近づけるようにしてみようと思います。
