The expression ‘hang out with’ is a cool, common and natural way to say ‘spend time with’ someone. Many of my teenager and adult students make a mistake when they say “I’m going to play with my friends on Saturday night?”. Why is this a mistake? Check out the two minute video above and find out.
Also, I have two questions for you:
1. Who do you hang out with on weekends?
2. Where do you like to hang out?
Please write your answers in the comment section below. I’ll read them and get back to you (= reply to you) as soon as possible.
Lastly, if you’re interested in learning more relationship expressions and want to practice using them in natural conversations, please visit my profile page and select the lesson called “Speak like a native”.
