I am learning a new lanuage myself - Arabic. It is a completely new language for me. How do I practise learning it? The same way children learn a new language!
I listen and watch children's stories and songs. I look at books online that are meant for children (who does not love colors?).
And I use the same idea when tutoring. I use colorful pictures that I find online to help students develop their vocabulary. People get excited when they see colorful images and that helps in learning!
So if you want to practice learning a new language, think of yourself like a child! Do the things that children do when learning a new language :)
