I am horrified to think that this column will be filled with thumbnails of horror movie clips, but I will take the initiative to introduce one of my favorites. First, let me tell you that I believe that the Japanese are the best at making horror movies. The best horror movies to me are the psychological ones that go deep into the human spirit. They have a certain realness to them. One of them is called "Audition". This movie was directed by the famous Japanese film director Takashi Miike. Most movies directed by him are not so interesting to me, but this one really caught my interest. If anyone dares to watch it, I would recommend this movie very much. It reminds me of one of my favorite authors of horror, Edgar Allan Poe. The build up to the climax is a very gradual process.
