Nice to meet you all on Cafetalk

Hi everyone! My name is Carleton and I'm a new teacher here on Cafetalk. I'm from the United States and I live in the beautiful city of Jacksonville, Florida which is known for beaches, sunsets and football!

I'm very excited to be on this platform and really appreciate the opportunity to be meeting students and helping them with their learning goals. I'm a journalist, a teacher, and a travel writer and have been teaching online for over three years now.

I've been to over thirty-five countries, inlcuding Japan and it is one of my most favorite countries to visit. I really appreciate and respect Japanese culture and I had a wonderful time traveling in and around Japan.

I look forward to meeting you and learning more about you and your learning journey and hope to help you along the way. I offer a variety of lessons, including practicing and gaining fluency in general English conversation.
