A Creative Haven (with a Feline Muse)

Weekly Topic: My work space! ☆ Share with us a corner of your work desk.

Meneesha

This cosy little corner is more than just a work space — it’s my creative sanctuary. It’s where ideas take root, projects come to life, and inspiration is never far away … especially with my ever-watchful muse sitting just a whisker away.

Nestled beside a large window, my desk is flooded with natural light that shifts throughout the day, casting warm patterns across the surface. It’s the perfect setting for creative flow. Whether I’m writing, teaching, or daydreaming ideas into existence, this is my safe space — offering me both peace and possibility. My view of the magnificent trees and open sky beyond the glass helps me breathe deeper and think more freely.

But truly, no creative session would be complete without the gentle, grounding presence of, Misty, my cat. She’s my quiet companion, often perched next to the keyboard like an editor-in-chief, supervising every keystroke and occasionally offering a soft paw-tap of approval (or protest). Her calm demeanour keeps me centred. And her spontaneous antics remind me to play.

My work space is not just a place to sit and work — it’s where creativity feels natural, and ideas feel welcome.

In this space, I get to explore, imagine, collaborate, and create — always in good company.
