I celebrated my Birthday!

Hello everyone in the Cafetalk Community!

How are you doing? I hope all is well. It's definitely fall in Canada although there are some warm days recently. Winter is just around the corner. How about in Asia? I hear it's cooling down little by little.

[Today's Topic: Birthday]

Today, I wanted to share that I went out for my Birthday to a Korean Restaurant called "Life is Good." My husband, Terry and my stepson, Jordan took me out for a lovely dinner. Don't get me wrong, I love teaching online but it was nice to go out once in a while.

It was the first time Jordan tried Korean food. He said he enjoyed eating "kimchi." It was perfect--kind of sweet and not too sour. Then, I had Bulgogi, Terry had Kalbi, and Jordan had the New York Steak. For desert, we had Bing-su. It's like shaved ice (but with milk) topped with mangos, chocolate, and green tea. It's so delicious!

As you can tell in my photo, I had a good time! I wanted to share my Birthday with you and to let you know that I had a wonderful time with my family. Thank you for letting me share my happiness! I hope to see you soon!

お元気ですか？みなさんが元気に過ごされていることを願っています。カナダはすっかり秋らしくなってきましたが、最近は暖かい日も少しあります。冬はもうすぐそこまで来ています。アジアはいかがでしょうか？少しずつ涼しくなってきていると聞いています。

【今日のトピック：誕生日】

今日は私の誕生日についてシェアしたいと思います。誕生日の日に「Life is Good」という韓国料理のレストランに行ってきました。夫のテリーと、継息子のジョーダンが素敵なディナーに連れて行ってくれました。オンラインで教えるのは大好きですが、たまには外に出るのもいいですね。

ジョーダンにとって韓国料理は初めての体験でした。彼は「キムチ」を食べて楽しんでいました。ちょうどよく甘みがあって、酸っぱすぎず、とても美味しかったそうです。私はプルコギ、テリーはカルビ、ジョーダンはニューヨークステーキを注文しました。デザートには「ビンス」をいただきました。ミルク入りのかき氷にマンゴーやチョコレート、抹茶がトッピングされていて、とても美味しかったです！

写真を見ていただければ分かると思いますが、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました！家族と一緒に素敵な誕生日を過ごせたことを、みなさんとシェアしたかったのです。私の幸せを分かち合う機会をくださり、ありがとうございます。またお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！
