Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Be Perfect Before Speaking

Miss Yvonne

Today, I wanted to share a quick thought about language learning. Many students believe they need to be “perfect” before speaking, but the truth is that progress comes from consistent practice, not perfection. Even small daily efforts, listening to short English clips, learning a new word, or practicing simple sentences can create big changes over time.

In my lessons and materials, I always encourage students to focus on communication first. Mistakes are a natural part of the journey, and every mistake is a sign that you’re learning something new. Let’s continue embracing progress step by step.
