JLPT N3 Grammar Patterns for Everyday Japanese Conversations

こんにちは!日本語教師(にほんごきょうし)のShokoです☺︎

Hello! I'm Shoko, a Japanese teacher.

今回は、JLPT N3の文法(ぶんぽう)を使った日常会話(にちじょうかいわ)を紹介(しょうかい)します!

In this blog post, we'll introduce everyday Japanese conversations using JLPT N3 grammar.

文法の意味(いみ)を確認(かくにん)しながら、動画でリスニングとシャドーイングの練習をしてみましょう!

Review the meaning of each grammar point, then practice listening and shadowing with the video!

① ~おきに|Every ~ / At intervals of ~

同(おな)じ時間(じかん)の間隔(かんかく)で何かをすることを表します。

Used to describe doing something at regular time intervals.

例文(れいぶん)|Example

1時間(いちじかん)おきに、休憩(きゅうけい)を取(と)ります。

I take a break every hour.

② ~おそれがある|There is a risk of ~

悪(わる)いことが起(お)こる可能性(かのうせい)があるときに使います。

Used when there is a possibility that something bad might happen.

例文|Example

納期(のうき)に間(ま)に合(あ)わないおそれがあります。

There is a risk that we will miss the deadline.

③ お~だ|A polite expression

相手(あいて)や目上(めうえ)の人などの行動(こうどう)を丁寧(ていねい)に表すときに使います。

Used to describe another person's actions politely.

例文|Example

木村(きむら)さんがロビーでお待(ま)ちです。

Mr. Kimura is waiting in the lobby.

④ ~がきっかけで/~をきっかけに|Triggered by / Inspired by

何かが原因(げんいん)で、新(あたら)しいことを始(はじ)めたときなどに使います。

Used to explain what prompted you to start something or become interested in something.

例文|Example

日本(にほん)のアニメがきっかけで、日本に興味(きょうみ)を持(も)ちました。

Japanese anime sparked my interest in Japan.

⑤ ~かける/~かけの|Started but not finished

何かを始めたけれど、まだ終(お)わっていないことを表します。

Used to describe something that has been started but not yet finished.

例文|Example

飲(の)みかけのコーヒーを捨(す)てました。

I threw away my half-finished coffee.

⑥ ~がち|Tend to / Often

何かをすることが多い、または、ある状態(じょうたい)になりやすいことを表します。よくないことについて使う場合(ばあい)が多いです。

Used to describe a tendency or something that happens often, usually something negative.

例文|Example

忙(いそが)しいと、運動不足(うんどうぶそく)になりがちです。

When I'm busy, I tend not to get enough exercise.

文法の意味を確認したら、動画で実際(じっさい)の会話を聞いてみましょう!

After reviewing the grammar, listen to the natural conversations in the video!

1. リスニング|Listening

まずは会話を聞いて、どんな場面(ばめん)で文法が使われているか考えてみましょう。

First, listen to the conversations and think about when and how each grammar point is used.

2. シャドーイング|Shadowing

音声(おんせい)を聞きながら、少し遅(おく)れて同じように声に出してみましょう。

Listen to the audio and repeat what you hear, following the speaker with a slight delay.

3. もう一度チャレンジ|Try Again!

意味を考えながら、自然(しぜん)な発音(はつおん)やリズムを意識(いしき)して練習しましょう。

Practice again while thinking about the meaning and paying attention to natural pronunciation and rhythm.

全部(ぜんぶ)を一度(いちど)に理解できなくても大丈夫です!

Don't worry if you can't understand everything at once!

何度も聞いて、実際の会話で使える日本語を少しずつ身(み)につけていきましょう☺︎

Listen repeatedly and gradually build your Japanese skills so you can use these expressions in real conversations.
