Lesson Pack Details

This is a 4-lesson pack. You will be issued 3 “coupons” when the first request is confirmed. You will be able to use these coupons for subsequent requests in the pack. Please note that all requests related to this pack must be taken within 25 days of the first lesson date.

Lessons should generally be booked chronologically, meaning that the second lesson should be booked after the first, and so on.

Women's Femininity Workshop

Evoke your hidden femininity to curate the life you desire and deserve. We will look back to a time when women could be softer, and pink was the flavor of the day. These days, we play all roles in both family and business.

This 4-session workshop will remind us how to rest in our femininity to manifest a renewed perspective on life's possibilities and enjoy curated relationships.  

These objectives will be achieved via writing prompts, discussion prompts, personal sketches, and songs.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:

  • Self-Care 101: Who's loving you?

  • Negating the idea that to serve is our only mission

  • Embracing the power of 'No': Self-love does not mean selfish

  • Creating a roadmap to life, love, and the pursuit of happiness

SESSION PROMPT 1~ Self-Care 101: Who's loving you?

Our discussion prompt is to examine when, where, and from whom are we experiencing love and affection.  Does your idea of femininity have a place in your relationships?

  • TASK ONE~~ Write an agenda of your ideal self-care routine.

Michelle Parks is a writer, singer, and visual artist offering imagery that embodies the quiet, sensual self.  Creative expression has always been her passion.  Michelle was recently published in Spoken Black Girl Issue 5: Motherhood with an essay entitled ‘To All Black Children from All Black Mothers’.  Michelle has lived in 10 countries, speaks six languages, and has four children. She has traveled throughout this bountiful earth, poked around in the cosmos, and discovered the nature of healing body and soul.  Michelle  hosts a podcast of mental meanderings from the MimiVerse: https://open.spotify.com/episode/3ApkbjLUdtqhXTF8Z0UO2R?si=re9ZBeguQpeM4OAAgFmBEA, and has served as a Women’s Center Director, Legal Advocate, Case Manager, and Lobbyist for women. She currently teaches English, French and Arabic from her modest language school she founded in 2004.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
