Train your brain, your ears, and your hands with high-impact, fast-paced dictation!
Quick Dictation Time is a highly targeted 15-minute session designed exclusively for intermediate and advanced students who want to bridge the gap between listening and flawless precision. This drill simultaneously sharpens three core skills: Listening Comprehension, Advanced Vocabulary, and Spelling/Pronunciation.
Please note: This lesson is designed for Intermediate and Advanced students. You are welcome to handwrite in a notebook or type on your computer during our drills (your choice!)
Our Curated Material Includes: Famous historical quotes, excerpts from modern news articles, authentic dialogue, and fragments of engaging stories.
What Happens During This Lesson?

Natural Speed Pass: I will recite the selected passage at a natural, conversational speed to test your global listening and grasp of native speech rhythms.

The Transcription Phase: I will recite the passage twice at a slower speed, giving you the focus time needed to transcribe the text accurately word-for-word.

The Reveal & Analysis: You will share your transcription, and we will analyze it together. We will pinpoint what you nailed and highlight what was missed (such as linked words or fast reductions).

Vocabulary & Nuance Breakdown: We will break down any unfamiliar idioms, advanced vocabulary, or tricky pronunciations found in the text.
If time permits, we will repeat this process with a brand-new piece of material to keep your skills moving forward!
Please Note: Every session now includes a personalized lesson summary tailored directly to your specific goals and focus area, helping you easily review your breakthroughs and track your progress.
