Reading Comprehension is defined as the level of understanding of a text. This understanding comes from the interaction between the words that are written and how they trigger knowledge outside the text. Reading comprehension is one of the most difficult concepts for students to master. Understanding the story or text often takes much background knowledge of words, vocabulary, sentence structure, and much more.
Join me in class and let's practice reading and understanding using level-appropriate texts. I highly recommend that we use Zoom in this lesson so we can use annotation tools. Thank you!
