Goal: Get students talking amd comfortable
Ask fun, "Would you rather?' winter questions. Let students answer and explain why.
Vocabulary and scene:10 minutes
Teach key words and set the scene, 6-8n key words ( hot chocolate, skating rink, fireworks, cafe.
Reading or Listening:10 minutes
Complete worksheet together. Ask 2-3 simple questions. Discuss what activities sound fun and new.
Speaking:10 minutes
Student describes their 'Perfect Winter Day' or 'My December Holiday', include what they see, eat and do during this time.
Wrap-up 5 minutes
Review and close lesson.Ask student what new words did you learn today?
Make 1 short sentence with any 1 of those words.
