Lots of new speakers make basic grammar mistakes, that while still can be understood, often makes someone stand out as a language learner, correcting them at any point in the language learning process allows for more fluent speaking. 

These mistakes can range from missing 'the' infront of words, the difference between 'a' and 'an' or any other variety of little mistakes that many speakers make when it comes to English's complicated grammar.
