Get ready for a festive adventure to the United Kingdom! In this high-energy, image-filled 40-minute lesson, your child will discover the magic of a British Christmas. We will explore all the delicious treats and exciting traditions that make Christmas in the UK so special.
What we will talk about:
- The British Sweet Shop: We will look at colorful pictures of iconic holiday chocolates like Quality Street and Cadbury Roses. Which colored wrapper is your favorite? We’ll also discover Selection Boxes and yummy Mince Pies!
- Holiday Magic: How do kids in the UK count down the days? With Advent Calendars! We will talk about Christmas Stockings filled with small surprises and the excitement of pulling Christmas Crackers (BANG!).
- Decorations & Cheer: We’ll look at twinkling lights, festive tinsel, sparkling baubles, and the big Christmas Tree.
Lesson Style:
This lesson is designed to be student-led and highly interactive. Teacher Howard will use vibrant photos and guiding questions to encourage your child to speak, guess, and share their own holiday experiences.
