German for beginners - by an ex-beginner!

If you are 16 years of age or above and haven't a clue where to begin with learning German, I can help you with the essentials!
I am still a learner myself in this respect, although I possess a C2 qualification and have lived in Berlin for more than two years. However, I can certainly guide you to the point where you can speak and write German well enough to converse smoothly with native Germans and integrate successfully in to everyday life in German-speaking countries.
My German has often caused me to be asked if I migrated to Germany as a child, so I daresay I'm doing a good job of learning it and therefore feel confident that you could benefit from my method and tips too!
We will use an array of audio, textual and visual media alongside grammar and pronunciation lessons and writing practice to gradually enable you to converse in German. Depending on how serious your needs are, you may opt for homework too.
(What I will teach you is formal and informal Hochdeutsch, which is the dominant and most useful form of German, generally speaking, so if you want to learn a variant such as Schweizerdeutsch or a dialect such as Plattdeutsch, I will unfortunately be unable to help :-( )
