Lesson Pack Details
This is a 5-lesson pack. You will be issued 4 “coupons” when the first request is confirmed. You will be able to use these coupons for subsequent requests in the pack. Please note that all requests related to this pack must be taken within 30 days of the first lesson date.

Lesson Plan: Improving Writing Grip
Objective: To help the student correct their grip on writing implements for better stability and neatness in writing.
Duration: 30 minutes
Materials Needed:
1. Writing implements (pens, pencils)
2. Paper or notebook
Warm-up (5 minutes):
*Begin by discussing the importance of a proper grip on writing implements for comfortable and neat writing.
*Ask the student about their experiences with writing and any challenges they face due to their grip.
Introduction to Proper Grip (5 minutes):
*Demonstrate and explain the tripod grip: holding the pen or pencil between the thumb and index finger, with the middle finger supporting it from underneath.
*Show the correct positioning of the fingers and the angle of the writing implement.
Practice Session (10 minutes):
*Have the student practice the tripod grip while holding a pen or pencil.
*Provide feedback and guidance on their grip, focusing on stability and comfort.
*Encourage the student to practice forming letters and words with the new grip.
Exercises (5 minutes):
*Introduce simple writing exercises focusing on controlled movements and maintaining the correct grip.
*Start with basic strokes (lines, curves) and progress to forming letters and words.
*Emphasize the importance of relaxation and fluidity in hand movements.
Tips and Strategies (5 minutes):
*Share tips for improving grip and writing stability, such as using pens with ergonomic grips or practicing handwriting exercises regularly.
*Discuss strategies for incorporating handwriting practice into daily routines, even in a digital-centric environment.
Wrap-up and Feedback (5 minutes):
*Review key points from the lesson and ask the student for feedback on their progress.
*Encourage the student to continue practicing and offer support and guidance as needed.
*Provide additional resources or exercises for further improvement.

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack
• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

- Cancellation possible at any time without charge.
After request is confirmed (fixed)
- More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
- Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
